BELOW ARE A FEW OF THE REMARKABLE RESULTS WE'VE EXPERIENCED WITH REPTAID.  ALTHOUGH WE TESTED IT ON CHAMELEONS, THE PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR USE WITH ALL REPTILES.

BEFORE REPTAID

AFTER REPTAID

    Sambava Panther Chameleon (Chamaeleo pardalis):

This Sambava Panther Chameleon came to us full grown with very severe coccidia infection, atypical coloration, prolapsed hemipenes, dangerously suppressed appetite, inability to perform sexually, and was underweight.

He was treated with Albon and Panacur (common anti-parasite drugs), which neither cleansed his body of the parasites nor helped his other problems.  His appetite was so depressed we had to force-feed him.

We began treating Degas with Reptaid on March 11, 2008.  He received .1ml twice a day, administered orally via needleless syringe.  By 3/31 his colors had greatly improved, and he was eating well.  By 4/19 his fecals were clear of coccidia.  On 4/29 he successfully mated with a female Panther chameleon (she laid 32 well-calcified fertile looking eggs on 5/27).

Veiled (Yemen) Chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus)

Wolfgang came to us with parasites (coccidia and others), had dangerously suppressed appetite, was underweight.

He had been treated with Panacur and Albon (common anti-parasite drugs)  since November 2007, which neither cleansed his body of the parasites nor helped his other problems.  His appetite was so depressed we occasionally had to force-feed him.

We began treating him with Reptaid on March 15, 2008.  He received .1ml twice a day, administered orally via needleless syringe and feeder insects.  By 4/4 his fecals were clear of coccidia and he was eating normal amounts of feeder insects on his own.

Panther Chameleon (Chamaeleo pardalis)

and Meller’s Chameleon (Chamaeleo melleri):

Both of these animals had chronic eye problems, including closed seeping eyes, frequent blinking and rubbing, and difficulty hunting prey.  They had been treated, off and on, with antibiotic ointments with no lasting effect.   After about 4 days on Reptaid their eyes improved.  After about 2 weeks on Reptaid the Meller's eye issues were completely resolved, while the Panther chameleon took a bit longer.  In both cases, Reptaid was administered via feeder insects.

As with any medication, individual results may vary.
